## Introduction
A product description is one of the most important pages on a product page. It is the first thing a customer sees when they land on your site, and it’s often the first impression they have of your brand.
Product descriptions should be clear, concise, and easy to read. They should describe the product in a way that helps the customer understand what it is, how it works, and what it can do for them. They also need to make the customer want to buy the product, and make them want to come back to your site to learn more about the product.
## What is a Product Description?
The product description page is a page on the product page that describes the product to the customer. The product description can be written in a variety of ways, such as:
– A short description of what the product is, what it does, and how it can be used.
– An explanation of how the product works and how the customer can use it. This is often referred to as the “how to use” or “instructions” page of the product description.
– This page can be a separate page or a section of the main product page, depending on how much information you want to give the customer and how much space you have on the page.
– For example, if you’re selling a vacuum cleaner, you may have a separate “vacuum cleaner instructions” section of your product page where you describe how to use the vacuum cleaner and how to clean your home with it. You may also have a “How it works” and “What it does” sections on the main vacuum cleaner product page to help the customer better understand how the vacuum works.
– A list of features, benefits, and specifications.
– A step-by-step guide to using the product or how to do a specific task with it (e.g. how to change a lightbulb).
– Any other information you think the customer might want to know about your product. This can include things such as how much the product costs, where you can buy it, how to contact you, or any other information that might be helpful for the customer to know before they buy your product (such as a warranty or return policy).
## Product Description Structure
There are a few different ways you can structure your product descriptions. The most common is to have a short description at the top of the page, followed by a how-to use or instructions page, and then a list of product features, specifications, and benefits.
In this example, we’ve put the short description on the top, the instructions on the middle, and the features and specifications on the bottom. This gives the customer a good idea of what they can expect from the product without having to click through to the product details page. This structure also makes it easy for customers to find the information they are looking for, and makes it easier for them to find what they want to read next.
Note: If you have a lot of information on your product, it may be helpful to break up your product description into multiple pages. Each page can have its own short description, and each page can link to the next page in the description.
